Any births, deaths or marriages which occur in Bournemouth should be registered with us. We hold records of all these events which have occurred within the Borough since 1837. The Town Hall is a popular destination for weddings and civil partnerships. We also hold citizenship ceremonies.

 

Weddings and Civil Partnerships

You can get married or have a civil partnership in a registered venue. Our historic Town Hall is a popular choice for weddings in Bournemouth.

Convert a Civil Partnership into a Marriage

Couples who have entered into a Civil Partnership before March 2014 can now convert this to a Marriage.

Citizenship Ceremonies

We hold monthly ceremonies in the Town Hall to welcome our new British citizens..

Register a Death
